1. General Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DLite browser extension ("Extension"). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Services

DLite is a Chrome extension that allows users to open Discord and Telegram channels in streamlined popup windows, providing a more compact chat experience by hiding sidebars and unnecessary UI elements. The Extension offers features including bookmarking channels, saving window layouts, and batch-opening multiple channels.

3. Privacy-First Approach

The Extension is built with a privacy-first approach:

• No personal data is collected, processed, or stored on external servers
• The Extension operates entirely within your browser
• No tracking, analytics, or telemetry data is collected

4. User Accounts and Access

The Extension interacts with Discord and Telegram web services using your existing browser sessions:

• We never see, access, or store your login credentials
• You are responsible for complying with the terms and conditions of these third-party services
• This Extension does not create, manage, or provide user accounts for Discord or Telegram

5. Local Data Storage

The only data stored by the Extension is:

• Bookmarks: Your bookmarked channels are stored in Chrome's sync storage, which may be synchronized across your devices where you are signed into Chrome
• Layout Information: Window positions and sizes are stored in Chrome's local storage on your device
• License Key Storage: PRO version users will have their license key stored in Chrome's sync storage to enable PRO features across their devices where they are signed into Chrome

This data is stored exclusively within Chrome's built-in storage mechanisms and is not accessible to us or any third parties.

6. User Obligations

You agree to:

• Use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension
• Not use the Extension to engage in any activity that could harm, disable, or impair the functionality of Discord or Telegram services

7. Free and PRO Versions

The Extension is available in two versions:

Free Version: Provides basic functionality with limitations including:

• Opening a single popup window
• No bookmark functionality
• No layout saving/loading

PRO Version: Provides premium features including:

• Multiple popup windows
• Bookmarking functionality
• Layout saving and management
• Enhanced support

8. License Terms for PRO Version

When you purchase a PRO license:

• Each license key has a limited number of simultaneous device activations
• You are responsible for managing your license activations
• License keys cannot be shared between different users
• We reserve the right to deactivate licenses used in violation of these terms
• Licenses may be subscription-based or one-time purchases as specified at time of purchase

9. Payment Processing

• All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (https://www.lemonsqueezy.com)
• We do not directly process or store your payment information
• Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy available on our website
• By purchasing a license, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service in addition to our own

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Extension, including but not limited to copyright and trademarks, are owned by the DLite Project. The Extension is licensed, not sold, to you for use strictly in accordance with these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the DLite Project be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Extension.

13. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of these Terms and by providing a notification through the Extension or other means.

14. Third-Party Services

The Extension interacts with Discord and Telegram web services but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc. or Telegram Messenger LLP. All product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

17. GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As the Extension does not collect personal data beyond what is stored locally or in your browser's sync storage, most GDPR provisions regarding data controllers do not apply. However, you maintain the right to:

• Access any data stored by the Extension (accessible through your browser settings)
• Delete all data by uninstalling the Extension
